We Currently Offer Services in Utah and New Mexico

Our services include comprehensive psychological evaluations and in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Mountain West’s Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) evaluations include a review of your child’s behavioral and medical history, direct assessment of their skills, and ratings from teachers and caregivers.

Services in New Mexico:

Autism specific evaluations are available in New Mexico by appointment only. Please check back for upcoming clinics or contact us to be placed on the waitlist for future appointments. In most cases, ASD evaluations can be conducted within 3 months.

Utah In-Home Services:

In-home ABA services are currently available to improve and support a variety of developmental goals related to daily routines, social skills, communication, and parent-child interactions.

In-Home ABA Services:

We have immediate openings for Cigna, BCBS, and Medicaid families in Salt Lake County! We are in the process of accepting additional insurance plans, check back for updated information.

Outcome Measures

**Tricare West Families** We can complete outcome measures for families in the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Contact us to ask about telehealth options to complete these measures. 

In-Home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy

ABA therapy is an evidence-based treatment endorsed by the U.S. Surgeon General and the American Academy of Pediatrics. ABA is based on principles of behavior used to reinforce communication, social skills, and independent skills.

Getting Started

Intake

Parents and caregivers can contact us to begin the intake process, begin an evaluation if necessary, and schedule therapy sessions. After the intake meeting, the practitioner will draft a brief proposal of services which includes a summary of need and requested services along with associated fees.

Assessment

Typically 2 sessions are scheduled to complete assessments for determining client needs and goal development. These assessments will include a variety of measures used to determine the level of functioning and targeted areas for specialized therapy.
