Services
We currently offer in-person diagnostic services in New Mexico. For families pursuing a self-pay evaluation option we offer diagnostic services via telehealth in most states.
Our services include targeted autism diagnostic evaluations and recommendations for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Mountain West's Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) evaluations include a review of your child's behavioral and medical history, direct assessment of their skills, and ratings from teachers and caregivers.
Services in New Mexico:
Autism specific evaluations are available in New Mexico via telehealth and in person appointments. In most cases, ASD evaluations can be conducted within 2 months. We only accept New Mexico insurance plans. Out of state evaluations are available via telehealth with a self-pay option.

Recommendations for In-Home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy
ABA therapy is an evidence-based treatment endorsed by the U.S. Surgeon General and the American Academy of Pediatrics. ABA is based on principles of behavior used to reinforce communication, social skills, and independent skills.
Getting Started
Intake
Parents and caregivers can contact us to begin the intake process, begin an evaluation if necessary, and schedule therapy sessions. After the intake meeting, the practitioner will draft a brief proposal of services which includes a summary of need and requested services along with associated fees.
Assessment
Typically 2 sessions are scheduled to complete assessments for determining client needs and goal development. These assessments will include a variety of measures used to determine the level of functioning and targeted areas for specialized therapy.
